Opening statement

I am currently a third year product designer studying at the University of Chester. My ambition is to become a sustainable product designer working for an eco-friendly company. Though out this blog I will be identifying my strengths and skills, whilst giving an overview of my experiences and challenges that I will be facing during the closure of my third year.

My main achievement that I want to gain from my third year would be to create a professional portfolio that reflects myself as a designer and envisages my digital and practical skills. Presenting my work and all I have learnt from university is a key objective for how I will advance within the industry.

In order to be efficient within the industry I will need to advance in sketching and learn to be more effective within Solidworks visualise and Keyshot.

My ambition after university is to secure a job in CAD design so that I can achieve more experience and knowledge. Being able to achieve this will allow me to advance up within the industry and give me the opportunity to one day own my own business.
