Anna & Leon

Today we had our final guest speakers, their names being Anna & Leon. Anna & Leon Have worked together for over 30 years and resinate through free lance Installations, interventions, large scale projection events, film and the photography side of our industry. Anna & Leon have collaborated with companies such as the national trust, ship of the gods and cheshire west council.

Anna & Leon explained their experiences with the ship of the gods project, which peaked my interest. The ship of the gods project was for the hull minster for a large event called absolutely cultured for urban legends. This project encapsulated the mythical ship that was used by the norse gods to carry their supplies and had the ability to fold up into a pocket sized vessel. Anna & Leon took the same principle of this ship to construct a series of life sized ships, scanned them and created animations of these vessels.

Anna & Leon have explored many interesting projects and have relayed their knowledge onto me, Anna & Leon have inspired me to explore my curiosities with in design and have opened my eyes to the possibilities that can come from doing this. All though I am a designer, and don't fined joy in event playing, I now have a connection to very experienced and talented individuals that I can one day call upon if needs be.
