Evoke

For my last module of my second year at university I was given the opportunity to work with a company that specialises in the creation of non human kiosks, called evoke. Evoke are the creators of the kiosk in:

-Macdonalds

-William hill

-Nike

-JD

-Vue cinema

Evoke resinate through solving problems through creativity and innovation. Through having meetings and monthly updates, Evoke helped me to strive to be a better version of myself through design. For my second year project I designed a kiosk that was suitable for all people. The kiosk was created for Under Armour and had several modes:

-Deaf mode

-All three colour blind modes

-Adjustable height

-Adjustable Brightness

-Contact Assistant

The Under Armour kiosk was created to suit all types of people and was fitted with product tracking software that directed the customer to their selected products. Through creating this kiosk, My CAD skills were significantly improved and due to the different types of people and the needs that come with them, I gained a better look on design and my mentality towards helping people was enhanced.

Overall this experience was very valuable as I created a new connection within the industry and gained more maturity as a designer. Evoke inspired me to push myself and create concepts that I would otherwise think were impossible. Evoke injected their passion and motivation for design into me and through these connections I have become a better designer.
