Exhibition Registrar

We had a meeting on teams with a professional speaker about their career paths and how they have got to where they are today. Their names being Denise Courcoux, an assistant Exhibitions Registrar at Tate Liverpool. Denise spoke to use about how she made it to her first job at bluecoats as an information assistant. After working at bluecoats for a year, Denise moved on to getting a job in the exhibition team. First as a gallery co-ordinator and then as an exhibition officer, of which was an enhanced role with in the team. Through Denise's time as an exhibition officer, she was trusted with a variety of responsibilities such as, Co-ordinating temporary exhibitions installs and deinstalls, booking contractors, working with artists and partners and managing projects. Talking to Denise gave me a really good insight into how I can gain the experience needed after university. Seeing how Denise developed from university to getting her dream job gave me an insight into how I would like to plan my life after university. Denise's lecture taught me that everything I do will have value in some way that will help me towards my end goals.
