Interview Preparation

A huge part of the professional practice module is an external interview. The interview is designed to push my portfolio in a greater direction, enable me to gain the experience of an interview situation and for me to pressent myself professionally. My portfolio should reflect my career direction, show my ambitions and show that I have a career goal in mind.

My portfolio is built up with work that reflects my career ambitions of being a CAD/sustainable designer. displaying work that starts form a brief and works into a finished product, replicates the processes in a company that I will be working for in the future.

Portfolio Contents

Major Project:

This project will form the majority of my portfolio. This project shows my sketching skills and how they have developed. This project is ongoing but is far enough to show what the end result will be. This project is challenging, but has pushed me to becoming more knowledgable in sustainable design and I feel that I have matured as a designer. This will take more time to explain due to the complexity of the project.

Design & Society Project:

This project shows my wide range of flexibility as I have designed a conceptual structure that shows my engineering skills and my ability to use CAD at an advanced level.
