Scott Duffey

Today we had a guest speaker called Scott Duffey. Scott Duffey studied art and design at the university of Chester. Scott Duffey talk to use about his experiences he's gained through studying in Chester and living in Liverpool. Scott started out by creating posters for bands, whilst running his own business called 'Touchan Tango'. He created gift cards of which he sold onto gift shops. Scott moved on to a new venture and opened up a store in Brighton called 'Suuup'. Scott talked to use about his life after uni and turns out that it took him a while till he started 'Touchan Tango'. Scott worked at pizza express and learnt screen printing on the side. He went on to create a meet up with his partner called 'the print social' and 'Liverpool print fair'. Scott Duffey's talk opened my eyes to how even if you don't succeed at first don't give up, theres always people you can get to know and things you can learn to give you a better chance.

This talks have been very inspiring to me as i have learnt that while some times it doesn't always go the way we want, if you just keep moving towards your goals, it will all work out. After these talks its inspired me further to create my own business in the future and has given me the insight to open up to others and share their experiences and knowledge with me.
